Parker’s Jeremiah Beaman, four-star 2024 recruit, commits to Alabama

Four-star 2024 defensive line recruit Jeremiah Beaman announced Sunday evening he has committed to Alabama.

Beaman, who will enter his senior season this fall at Parker High School in Birmingham, picked up Georgia and LSU hats before revealing his choice of the Tide. He also had a Clemson T-shirt and Auburn hat displayed on the table as part of a final 10 that included Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Florida State, Colorado and Ole Miss.

He becomes the seventh recruit to join Alabama’s 2024 class, and the fourth from the state of Alabama.

Beaman is ranked No. 107 in 247 Sports’ industry composite for the 2024 class, No. 13 among defensive linemen and No. 7 among in-state prospects. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound junior was recruited by Tide defensive line coach Freddie Roach.

AL.com ranked Beaman as the fifth-best state of Alabama prospect in the 2024 class. He was voted second-team Class 6A all-state last season by the ASWA and part of AL.com’s first team all-Birmingham region team.

Alabama’s 2024 class, headlined by five-star California quarterback Julian Sayin, is No. 16 in 247 Sports’ team rankings. In addition to Beaman, Alabama has earned commitments from in-state five-star prospects in Clay-Chalkville’s Jaylen Mbawke and Foley’s Perry Thompson, as well as Mobile’s Sterling Dixon.
